It is crucial that you’re on time for your installation, as fast as we would like to send you on your way, we need a fair amount of time to get your brand-new In-car entertainment system up and running, ensuring that it works as intended, as well as checking for quality of our own work, this is one of our key components and we take installations incredibly seriously, your car won’t leave us until we’re happy with our work, and you’re happy with your installation.

Please arrive at your designated time, this is important as it:

  • This gives us ample time to finish our research on your vehicle if needed,
  • Complete the installation,
  • Assess the installation quality and make any changes if needed,
  • Perform maintenance on the system if/as required.
  • Install any firmware upgrades that need to go onto the system,


and finally, when you come to pick your vehicle back up, we need some time to run through the features of the newly installed in-car entertainment system as well as discuss the warranty and any complications/issues we had during our installation to keep you in the loop as to how our installation process went.

Why do we ask so much of you, well we want this process to be as smooth as possible, for yourself first and foremost, but also for ourselves, as selfish as it may seem.

Our Ideal Installation goes off without any issues, and we return your car to you as soon as possible, with the system installed, but as you’re aware sometimes this may not be as simple as taking the old one out and putting the new one in. In this case, we will ensure to phone you if any complications arise during the installation of your head unit.

If we need more time to ensure the quality of your unit is up to our high standard we will ask, this is difficult for both parties, as we know you may have prior arrangements further on in the day, which is why we tend to ask you to schedule the fitting in the morning to give us time to send you on your way in the afternoon.

What are the benefits of our process, well our goal here at Iceboxauto is “To provide you with an aftermarket head unit you'll want to show off, at great prices without the hassle/stress of ordering from abroad”

To accomplish this goal, we like to be thorough when installing our in-car entertainment head units, so this calls for a vigorous process of quality control and assessment.

This is to our benefit as much as it is yours, as it ensures a quality product at the end, we won’t let you leave until we’re happy with the work we’ve provided.


Here at Iceboxauto, our goal is to ensure that we fit your new aftermarket head unit into your car, as soon as possible, while constantly maintaining the professionalism and quality control that is required of an experienced group of auto electricians.

This sometimes leads to a longer than desired wait, as these systems are often quite difficult to install, especially if the vehicle we’re installing the system into, has had previous work done, is missing components or is downright stubborn.

This requires a decent amount of patience on your behalf as installing these systems takes a prolonged period, but anything good never comes quickly. This is why we ask for a sizable chunk of time for all of our installations to match the criteria stated in the guide on page one.



Our Rules are as follows:

As there are multiple factors and variables at hand when we’re installing your system, we have a few rules that in general, we like to stick to ensure the process is as smooth as possible for you and ourselves.

  • Leave The Car with us 
  • Fortunately, we are located right next to Croft Retail Park, which has several places, you can wait if you’re so inclined.
    • Costa – Why not get a coffee and wait for your new in-car entertainment system to be installed?
    • Odeon Cinema – This is the perfect excuse to go and watch a film, you can kill two birds with one stone and get your unit fitted while watching a film.
    • Pure Gym – Perhaps you could catch up on some cardio while waiting for your installation to finish?

Not Inside the Car

As daft as it may sound, if you decide to stick around for a bit, to make things easier, we insist you stay outside of the vehicle, as it can be quite an arduous task taking out an old unit, and re-placing the new one, requiring us sometimes to contort into, let’s say interesting positions, which are most definitely harder to do with an extra person.

These rules are here to make sure that we provide you with the best quality installation possible at Iceboxauto, if you have any questions or concerns before, during the installation, or afterwards please bring them up with us as soon as possible as we don’t want you driving around after a bad experience, either with the length of the installation, issues that arise with the system itself after your installation please don’t hesitate to give us a call on our telephone or drop us an email including the order number, model number of the car, or the delivery address if you’re ordering from afar.

Customer Disclaimer:

We at Iceboxauto, take pride in providing quality services to our customers and strive to ensure that our work is completed to the highest standards. However, we cannot guarantee that no damage will occur while we are performing services. We will make every effort to protect the dash, screen, and any parts inside/outside from damage and always work with the utmost care and diligence. However, we cannot accept any liability for any damage that may occur during the course of our work ascertaining non-OEM items/parts within the vehicle.

We advise our customers to take out appropriate insurance for any potential damage that may occur, as we are not liable for any items that we have not previously been made aware of before the installation of your system/camera. Please let us know beforehand if there are any parts inside your vehicle that may impact our work. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to providing you with the best service possible.

  • Any items/parts that do not come standard to the car that could be affected by our work, for example, Custom Trim on your car's dash, if we're unable to remove something like this during the installation charges may still be applied depending on the amount of work already completed.

  • We also are not liable if any items/parts that are not original to the car are damaged during the installation, when it comes to non-OEM parts, we cannot be sure exactly how the item you've added may impact our work.

  • If any previous work that has taken place inside your vehicle has impacted our job, we're not accountable if it has disrupted how we're supposed to complete our work and/or stops us from completing our work. Under these circumstances, we will contact you to find out how you would like us to proceed with the work. We're not liable for any damages related to faulty items/parts inside your vehicle before our working inside your car.

  • When the system is installed fully, the full price of installation is to be paid to us at Iceboxauto, if you have any issues with our work please bring them to our attention as soon as possible so that we can rectify them as quickly as possible.

  • If and when there is an issue with the system/installation of your item we will contact you as soon as we are aware to keep you informed. Some issues will require communication from the manufacturers of the item, under these circumstances, we may require you to come back again so we can solve the issue. In communication with you, we will get the car back to a suitable standard that you're happy with before you leave, depending on the amount of work that has been included this may leave you with a partially installed radio, or we will place the old unit in. Accessories such as front-facing cameras and reverse cameras may also be wired through the car/dash, but not connected.

  • We are not able to take responsibility for any possessions that may be left in a customer's vehicle. We suggest that you take a few minutes to double-check your vehicle before leaving to ensure that you have all of your items/parts. We thank you for your understanding.

  • Any installation charges are final, once you leave the premises, we're not able to refund any work that has been completed to your vehicle, further work may also be required, which we may require further payment for, this is to be discussed beforehand to ensure you're happy to allow us to continue the work necessary.

  • If the job we're completing for you requires work that we were not expecting, or not mentioned relating to any items/parts inside your car that are non-OEM, we may require more time/payment depending on the amount of work that requires completing.

We understand that mistakes can be made, and we want to ensure that any errors are corrected promptly. We are open to making amends when necessary and are always willing to discuss any issues that may arise. We value our customers and want to make sure they are satisfied with our service.
