Which NTG Menu Does my Mercedes Have?

One of the main issues our customers have when trying to figure out which Mercedes Benz system they need to order is which NTG menu they're currently running.

Why would this be an issue, essentially each one of our systems has to be catered to each separate car with each separate NTG menu, as these units switch between the car's original menu and the Android OS unit.

There is often some conflict between the car's original menu and the Android OS which is installed on our systems, and any other replacement system that has this functionality.

To find out which NTG menu you're currently using inside your Mercedes, you can use the image down below to discern which one you've got, something that is incredibly important for us to know before you place your order, which is why we have the drop-down box asking you to select the version.

Mercedes-Benz offers several versions of its NTG (New Telematics Generation) system for its cars, each with varying features and capabilities.

NTG 5.0: This version was first introduced in 2014 and is used in several current Mercedes-Benz models. It features a larger 8.4-inch display screen, enhanced Bluetooth connectivity, voice control, and an advanced navigation system with real-time traffic updates. It also includes features like a touchpad controller and the ability to connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

NTG 5.1: This version was introduced in 2017 and is used in newer Mercedes-Benz models. It features an even larger 10.25-inch display screen, a faster processor, and an improved navigation system. It also includes additional features like an augmented reality navigation system and the ability to control certain vehicle functions using a smartphone app.

NTG 5.5: This version was first introduced in 2020 and is used in some of the latest Mercedes-Benz models. It features a 12.8-inch OLED display screen, an updated and more intuitive user interface, and improved voice recognition technology. It also includes features like a head-up display, advanced driver assistance systems, and the ability to connect to the Mercedes me app.

Overall, the NTG versions for Mercedes-Benz cars offer increasingly advanced technology and features to enhance the driving experience and provide drivers with convenient and intuitive ways to control their vehicle's systems.
